Mr. LEUNG Wai Kwong Daron



Mr. Leung is a well-known experienced & qualified Occupational Health & Safety Practitioner. He started his safety career in 1981. In the past 19 years he gained solid working experience both locally & overseas in managing safety in construction projects, conducting safety training and safety auditing, handling prosecutions cases, civil liabilities litigation & Employees¡¦ Compensation procedures.

His early 9 years working experience both on site and in the corporate position entails him to understand and deal with different problem & challenge. He also had 6 years precious working experience overseas in the Ontario Government in Canada which gave him a lot of insight & new experience which might definitely a benefit in the growing stage of Occupational Health & Safety in Hong Kong.

After returned from Canada, he had been involved with the Airport Authority & Mass Transit Railway Corporation in the New Airport Core Project as a Senior Safety Advisor from the client¡¦s perspective. He is now working in the corporate office of an oversea construction giant as a Corporate Safety Manager looking after their operation in the Asia Pacific Rim.

Mr. Leung¡¦s academic training in building, civil engineering & occupational health & safety and his broad experience exposure cater him to serve this versatile, multi-discipline, complex industry. Further, he had recently attained his Master Degree in Safety Management which will enhance him in further develop his career.

Besides as an Accredited Safety Auditor & a Registered Safety Officer, currently he is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Industrial Safety Association, the Hon. Treasurer & Founder Member of the Society of Accredited Safety Auditor Ltd. & also the committee member of various functional groups in OSHC, CITA. In order to share his valuable experience to others he also actively involved in lecturing safety in the University & other organizations.
